What it does

The four things a shop does all day.

Inventory Now follows every item from the day you buy it to the day it ships, and tells you what you made along the way.

  • Scan

    Camera or hardware scanner. Unknown barcodes fill themselves in from a shared catalog, with an AI fallback and Smart Scan from a photo.

  • Sell

    Cart, tax and discounts, then Square, Tap to Pay or cash. Every checkout is an order with a receipt and Register Mode keeps costs hidden from staff.

  • Count

    Stocktake by scanning a shelf at a time. Preview discrepancies, commit, keep the report. Undo if you must.

  • Know

    Inventory value, sales, True Profit after expenses, and days of stock left on every item, with a push before you run out.

Version 8.12.1 went live on Nov 2, 2026. Here is what changed in the last few releases.

  1. Version 8.12.1Latest

    Tap to Pay on iPhone, Etsy, and a simpler checkout.

    • Tap to Pay on iPhone: take contactless cards and Apple Pay on your iPhone with no extra hardware, then refund a sale straight back to the card.
    • Etsy joins App Connections: paid and unpaid Etsy orders come in as orders, stock follows your counts both ways, and new items push to Etsy as drafts. A listing that hits zero is paused, then switched back on when you restock.
    • One button to sell, with an Add to cart toggle beside it. A new setting picks whether the cart starts on for sales, for everything, or never, and a new checkout sheet lets you hide the payment options you don't use.
    • Edit any order from its screen, even while another cart is open: your cart is set aside and comes back when you finish. Editing a paid order reopens it as unpaid.
    • Register Mode reminds you it is on at launch, and only the device owner can turn it off with Face ID or the passcode. Switching it on no longer crashes.
    • Reports and expense filters follow your local day, amounts typed with a decimal comma read correctly, and on the free plan, edits at the item limit save and deleting an item frees its slot.

    Tap to Pay on iPhone needs an iPhone XS or later. 8.10 and 8.11 (late October) adapted the layout for iPhone Duo.

    Bluetooth scanners, no tap required.

    • Bluetooth and USB barcode scanners now work straight from the item list. Scan, and the item opens. No tapping into the search field first.
    • Export every barcode and SKU label at once, as a zip or a photo album, so you can queue them all to a label printer in one go.
