Variants

Variants are the versions of one product that differ by an attribute such as size, color or location, tracked as separate items but viewed together as a group.

A T-shirt in three sizes and two colors is six variants. Each needs its own count and its own barcode, but you want to see them on one line when you ask how many T-shirts are left.

Location can be a variant too: the same product on the shop floor and in the stockroom, with stock moved between them.

In Inventory Now

Link items into a variant group, see the totals in one line and drag stock between variants.
